Taunton woman killed in Boston shooting

BOSTON (WPRI) — A 27-year-old Taunton woman has been identified as the woman shot and killed in Boston last month.

On May 31, police responded to Edson Street around 11:15 p.m. for a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found Pereshah Shear-Yashub suffering from a gunshot wound, according to police. She was taken to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

No word on any arrests.

The shooting is still being investigated. Police urged anyone with information to call (617) 343-4470.
