Your Brain on Wild Blueberries

Your Brain on Wild Blueberries

The Food Weapon to Use Against Alzeimers & More

Which fruit is the healthiest of all? According to Scientific American, hands down it’s WILD BLUEBERRIES!

Blueberries in general have the highest concentration of antioxidants as any other fruit. But WILD BLUEBERRIES have two to three times as many antioxidants as cultivated blueberries.

They’re also packed with more fiber, relative to their size, than most other fruits…… which is important for maintaining a healthy weight.

And according to research from the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, blueberries offer a proven way to prevent cell damage and decrease inflammation, which is linked to lowering our risk for cardiovascular disease, cancer, and even Alzheimer’s disease!

For the best results, consume a handful of wild blueberries a day – along with other fruits and vegetables.  Even if they’re frozen, they’re a superstar fruit, and they’re available year-round in the US and Canada.

Gib and I use frozen blueberries as a midday dessert and his kids also love them as snacks.
