Tonight is one of my all time favorite events: SALSA NIGHT! I’m thrilled to be bringing it back for the first time this summer. It’s a true celebration of our city’s vibrant culture and community.
Join me for an unforgettable night under the lights and stars on the Roosevelt Avenue Bridge! We’ll have free salsa lessons, live music, performances, food trucks, and so much more.
I want to extend a big thanks to our amazing sponsors who have helped make Salsa Night possible: Apex Technology Group, Bank Newport, Blackstone Valley Community Health Care, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Rhode Island, Coastal1 Credit Union, Jenks Park Pediatrics, Navigant Credit Union, Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, Papitto Opportunity Connection, Telemundo Providence, Tufts Health Plan, and Verizon.
Another note: I want to extend a huge thanks to our amazing local business, Packaging & More. In celebration of their 30th anniversary this year, they continue working toward their goal of donating $30,000 to organizations that make an impact in our community. This week, they donated $2,500 to our Central Falls Panthers. Thank you, Packaging & More!
See you tonight at 6pm!
Your mayor,
Maria
